My name is Isabelle,

I am in my early fifties and a native French teacher with solid experience in teaching French in international schools abroad and tutoring. I am also a certified Yoga teacher.

I became a certified yoga teacher with the Noah Mazé Institute in 2014 (200H YTT) and a reiki practictioner a couple years earlier.

Teaching and sharing this discipline is a blessing and I am so grateful for what this brings into my life.

I had such a great time with Isabelle! The highlight of my week was when we went on a hiking trip and did some birdwatching with a group of other people, the views were breathtaking and the people were all lovely and being immersed in so much French conversation was very useful.

Our 14 year old son spent 2 weeks with Isabelle this summer. He thoroughly enjoyed the time, studying French with Isabelle in the morning and going surfing in the afternoon. He made significant progress with his French (and the surfing). I highly recommend isabelle and would like to thank her again for hosting our son and for giving him such a great experience and fun time.

Isabelle immediately welcomed me and requested that I treat her home as my own. She is funny and enthusiastic about everything she does. She was a wonderful hostess and we enjoyed delicious vegetarian meals and a class of yoga together with her family. Every morning we studied and talked about the world and she patiently corrected my French. I would not hesitate to recommend Isabelle.

J ' ai apprécié le temps que j'ai passé avec Isabelle et sa famille en août 2020. J ' y ai passé une semaine en cours d'immersion française, c'est sans aucun doute la façon parfaite de développer vos compétences linguistiques. Isabelle est une hôte fantastique, chaleureuse et généreuse, elle m'a fait me sentir détendue et à l'aise dans sa maison. Parentis en born est une belle région, avec beaucoup à offrir ; Isabelle m'a fait visiter la ville, et le lac. Nous avons visité la plage de bicarrosse, et la dune du pilat qui est spectaculaire. Nous avons eu des leçons le matin, Isabelle m'a soutenu et m'a encouragé dans mon apprentissage. Elle a été très souple et a élaboré un programme pour aider dans les domaines que je voulais développer. Isabelle était patiente, mais ferme, elle expliquait toujours les bienfaits des tâches, et je me sentais à l'aise de poser des questions, et de faire des erreurs dont il y en avait beaucoup. Sa connaissance et son amour de la langue sont évidents. C ' était un plaisir de faire partie de sa vie pour la semaine, j'ai surtout apprécié son cours de yoga, et de nombreux repas pris dans le jardin. J ' ai pu explorer un peu de la région, mais aussi me sentir à l'aise en relaxant dans le jardin.
